A simple idea...
I'm an active-duty LAPD Detective and armchair historian. I've been taking my own photos and collecting various historic LAPD items for the last several years. But keeping this stuff to myself doesn't make much sense.

I wanted to create a place where I and others who are interested in LAPD history can post and share items of historical interest. There are lots of active and retired coppers out there with all kinds of cool historical items. I want this site to be a place where we make the Department's history more accessible to everyone.
My interest is in ephemera; that is, obscure items that were intended to be transitory and not maintained in the long-term.
